• Breakout Op 
• A2 Set

• GAV   

 

Billing Terms:

• All shifts are booked with a 5 hour minimum, excluding day rate positions.
• Shifts over 5 hours are billed as a 10-hour call. 
• After 10 hours, Overtime is billed at 1.5x the Regular Rate. 
• After 12 hours Double Time will be billed at 2.0x the Regular Rate. 
• Any hours physically worked after midnight will be billed as overtime hours. 
• Any hours worked at the start of shift before 6:00am will be billed as overtime hours.
• All call times booked will be billed at the minimum of the scheduled hours excluding overtime hours. 
• All times billed will be billed in one-hour increments. 
• If given a 30 minute lunch this will be considered a working lunch and technicians will remain on the clock. Lunch must be provided to be considered a working lunch.
• If given a one hour lunch this will be considered a walkaway lunch and will be an off the clock hour.  
• If a contractor is asked to work two shifts that are required as part of a show run without a minimum of 8 hours off the clock between each shift, then the next shift will be considered a “Short Turnaround” which is billed at 1.5x the normal rate. Contractors are required to inform Genesis ahead of time before putting themselves in a short turnaround situation.

 

Meal Breaks and Short Breaks:

• All people working for Genesis must be broke for a 15-minute short break every 2 hours and 30 minutes. 
• After 5 hours into a shift all people working for Genesis must be provided food onsite and given a 30-minute lunch on the clock, or a 1-hour lunch off the clock and allowed to leave the property. 
• If a lunch break is not provided by 5 and 1/2hrs from the start of a shift, each contractor will go into overtime until a meal break is provided.   

 

Cancellation Policy:

• Genesis AV has a 24hr cancellation policy. Meaning that Genesis AV reserves the right to cancel any shifts before 24hrs of the start of a shift. If a shift is canceled within 24/hrs of the shift, we have to bill for the full shift.

 

Payment Terms:

• We request that all invoices be submitted within 72hrs of the end of your last shift per event. 
• Genesis AV does have net30 payment terms as far as contractor invoices go. This being said these net terms do start from receipt of invoice.
• Genesis allows their clients a 10 minute grace period before the next hour starts in situations where the next hour wasn’t previously scheduled at the start of your shift. Example: If you were booked from 12pm-10pm and 9:45pm starts to come around. It is the responsibility of the contractor to notify your lead ahead of time if you believe the call may go longer. This allows the client a courtesy of deciding if they’ll keep the crew longer and except extra charges.

 

Expenses:

• All contractor expenses outside of our agreed upon rate must be disclosed to Genesis AV ahead of time and agreed upon by both Genesis and the contractor. These are examples but are not limited to just this, parking cost, milage, gas, gear rentals, tools, etc.

 

Dress Code Policy: 

• Certain clients of Genesis request a certain attire to be worn while working on site for their event. Please check with your local Genesis coordinator on these policies before the start of your shift.
